Darby arrived at Nellis Air Force Base in August 1988 after serving two years at Ramstein Air Base Germany. Darby earned and was awarded a below-the-zone (early) promotion, to Security Police Sergeant, while serving in the U.S. Air Force. 

 Darby is a community leader and serves on numerous boards and committees throughout Las Vegas. When not working hard for his clients Darby enjoys motorcycle riding, reading business, leadership and motivation related books, business consulting and hanging out with his kids.
